Meet our Team

Old Lamp is led by the creative vision of our core team. With a combined 20 years in the entertainment industry, we put our creative juices together to develop the company's projects across the board.

MIKE ARCHER

Mike grew up in North East of England. He trained at York St John University studying Film and Television Production before moving to London and training as an actor with The Metropolitan Film School: Ealing, Drama Studio London and Redroof's Film and Television School.

In 2011 he founded Old Lamp Films and wrapped the company's first project 'The Journey of Alfred Small' in summer 2014, after which the film picked up the award nomination for Best Ensemble Cast at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards and the Olympus Film Festival.

On screen Mike has appeared in ' The Genius of Turner' (BBC2); 'The Kings Speech' (See Saw Films) and 'Easy Virtue' (Ealing Studios).
